Downtown Milford Photo Walk

Earlier this week I attended the Downtown Milford Photo walk, sponsored by The Milford Bank and led by local professional photographer Robert Harrington.  It was a blast!  I would recommend it to anyone, and will watch for the next one and promote it here.  There were so many different people; from kids to teens to older persons.  Even one lady in a wheelchair was able to participate!  The cameras ranged from simple point-and -click to large format, (all digital, though.)  The equipment didn't matter, it was all about the fun and creativity.

Here are a few of the photos I took:

Crabapples on the Green in color and B&W.  Which do you prefer?

We are a very patriotic community!

Two views of the Masonic Lodge

                                                                       Mum's the Word!

And the best part of the whole event was when I was on the Green near High Street and I heard my name called.  I swung around with my camera and saw my hubby and doggie driving by!  <3

If you have never explored your town with a camera, I would suggest getting out, walking around, and shooting anything that catches your eye.  The best part about digital is that we can just delete what we don't like and keep what we do.  You never know what kind of interesting photos you will take!  And to add to the fun, get some friends and do it together.  If you do, and you post them to a blog or anything, e-mail me and I will put a link up here and on Twitter!  My e-mail is shaileenh@gmail.com

Happy Shooting!!!!
